Bad Excellent

These are genuine reclaimed bricks cut down into thin section brick slips.

Whilst we endeavour to source and supply consistent batches it is impossible to gaurantee that the current batch will perfectly match as per the image on our website at all times. If you desire a very specific match to the image you should ask the office to send you an image of the current batch and request a sample. We usually have several batches to choose from ranging from quite regular through to very distressed. Quantity of painted / white / blacks is not easily controlled.

TRADE: If you are looking for control over whites, blacks and generally consistent product over time for large shop/chain branding we have options available - call to discuss with technical/sales department.

If you order many months after receiveing samples and/or photographs of current stock you should re-request closer to the point of ordering. If you envisage doing other areas with these brick slips at a later date you should either order the full amount required for both areas thereby achieving a consistent blend for both areas or accept that there may be minor differences between the two installations.

You should allow up to 10% for site waste as these are a fragile product (in comparison to our other products) and you should expect that some will inevitably be broken due to travel 'rattle' damage. The slips that are broken should be used for your cuts where two walls meet.

You should also lay slips where they have cleanly broken as this will appear as a hairline crack in the brick once the wall has been pointed which is actually exactly as you would see in a real brick wall made of this type of product and will look completely natural and authentic
